A Little Bit About Snout Music …

Snout creates vivid atmospheric & rhythmic soundscapes. A sound lending itself to visual imagery, Snout has been placed into 2 independent films, (“JungleCat” & “Confessional”) and 1 documentary, the story of Carlos “Famoso” Hernandes, “More Than Famous”. “More Than Famous” was featured in and won awards from several film festivals and has been distributed worldwide by HBO Latino.

Snout is the brainchild of writer/ producer/engineer Lance Miller. Lance teamed up with sound and beat wizard Matt Victory, guitarist Jason Bell (Stars of Track & Field) and drummer Tim Ennis (Systemwide) to record this most recent CD “Hippo” at Galahad Productions in Eugene, OR.

Snout began as a studio project aimed at writing music for placement in films and college radio, but have expanded with multi-media performance pieces and live shows. The members of Snout have over 60 years of playing and writing experience, yet still make music that is contemporary and modern.

The Snout sound, uniquely picturesque, is reminiscent of such groups as Mogwai, Brian Eno, Mum, Tortoise, et al.
